Frequently asked questions

Thinking about working with a fashion, beauty and lifestyle PR agency? These are the questions brands ask us most often — and if yours isn’t here, email hello@labelpr.com and we’ll happily answer it.

What does a fashion, beauty, lifestyle PR agency actually do?

A fashion, beauty and lifestyle PR agency manages a brand's relationship with journalists, editors and influencers to secure press coverage and social media coverage, build brand credibility and support product launches. This typically includes press office management, product seeding, launch campaigns and media relations.

What sectors or brand types do you specialise in?

Label PR works with fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands typically. We don't work across every industry — this focus means we already have relationships with the editors, stylists and influencers who cover this space.

Do you have experience in brand partnerships?

Label PR has brokered many brand partnerships between brand + celebrity / influencer, brand + designer, brand + charity, and between two brands who want to collaborate. From sourcing names to choose from, initial outreach, negotiation and contract to rolling out the launch, Label PR is there for every step of the way.

Do I need a PR agency?

Agencies bring existing relationships with editors and creators, knowledge of what's currently being covered and the capacity to pitch consistently. Many brands bring a PR agency on board around a launch or when they want to scale coverage beyond what has previously been achieved.

How long does it take to see PR results?

Press coverage typically takes 3–6 months to build momentum. Journalists work on lead times, and coverage compounds over repeated pitches rather than appearing instantly.

Launch-specific coverage can happen faster due to a 'news' angle and if tied to an embargoed announcement, but ongoing press office work is a longer-term relationship building process.

For working with influencers and creators this can be a quicker win depending on the creator, if scope includes paid or if the project is solely focused on gifting.

Brands looking to create credibility with the press and consumers are aware this needs time. Quick flashes in the pan don't fool anyone. We have secured coverage for our clients in outlets including Sheerluxe, Refinery29, Grazia, Glamour, Stylist, Financial Times, The Guardian, Daily Mail, YOU Magazine, Sunday Times Style, Trail Magazine, Telegraph Magazine, The Independent, Women's Health, Men's Health, Metro, The Sun, The Mirror, OK!, Hello!, Marie Claire, Prima, Good Housekeeping, Red, GQ, Esquire, Who What Wear, Vogue Business, Drapers, WWD, Retail Times, ITV This Morning, ITV Lorraine, and more.

What is the difference between press office and influencer marketing?

PR focuses on earned media coverage through journalists and editors, leaning on the experience and expertise of years of relationship building from Label PR.

Influencer marketing involves paid or gifted partnerships with content creators on social platforms. Label PR works across both, increasing the opportunity for brand repetition and brand recall from the potential customer and building brand trust.

Do you work with brands outside of the UK?

Label PR is based in the UK and our focus is primarily on UK press, media and influencers, although we work with international brands looking to build UK press coverage specifically.

How do I get started working with Label PR?

Get in touch via hello@labelpr.com with a bit about your brand and what you're looking to achieve. We'll usually do an initial Teams meeting to understand your goals before proposing scope and pricing. If we're both aligned, Label PR will then create a pitch deck for you to sign off — and then we get to work!
